Its people like Sven that wind me up about the ETCC, i know I got kicked, And to be fair I have no problem with that, I still respect that series and for one have never said a bad word about it. Believe it or not I actually sent an email asking to be allowed back in, But Trycester kindly told me no.

The people I never got to race are the ones who bitched about me, and I dont have to name names, but lets just say the older ones in the lower finals (Except neil).

THey get bigger grids because there level of competitiveness is lower than ours (why we probably got kicked) IFCA get big grids because of the fact they have been round the longest and are the most respectable (sorry george)

We get low amounts because not many people feel part of the RWS group and therefore dont like to stick around. Its the same teams most of the time every season. Nobody joins a team, nobody new ever gets commited. Well a few do, but honestly, i'd say 75% of the people here easily raced in the first ever race at Brands Hatch on Race Pro (I was there in the B Final).

Also, grids are low compared to Forza 2 because most people aren't into online racing atm, give the game a while to settle down, the online lobbies to dry up a bit and more people will search forums looking for something like this.

Also brings me to another reason why we get low grids, George doesn't advertise no more :King: GEORGE!! :)

There are lots of people grinding my gears in ETCC, but I try to keep my comments to myself.. even though Im not very good at it

The 3 major differences I see between the RWS and ETCC are;
- Broader skill-spectrum in the ETCC, meaning you'll always have someone to race against no matter how much or little you've practiced. Here, people like me get left in the dust unless I put some serious time into practicing for a race.
Since Im not very fond of FM3, racing it here means I will most probably be a lonely back marker.
- ETCC is less "nerdy". No offense, but when comparing the off topic stuff there are a lot more "normal" conversations going on over at ETCC.
Since Im not really into computers or lolcats, I prefer the ETCC forum where more "mature" topics are discussed.
- Ok, Im sure I had something more to write here... Dont remember it now :(

One thing I dont understand is why every damned league has their main races at Sundays 9PM?
How about having it at 6PM instead so we can race in 2 leagues at the same time?

Some fair points there, but most of us can't make 6pm UK time on Sundays. For everyone in Britain, that is dinner-time, George has to take a train that only arrives at its destination by 7pm-ish and Phil lives in Morrisons until 8pm normally. :cat:

One question about the ETCC.
I tried registering to the forums yesterday, but it told me registering was disabled. George or Jonny told me you need to be invited to join the forums. How does one go about getting an invite?

Ridley, I think there's an email account you should send a request to.. dont know which one though.
If you're serious about joining I can talk to them for you?

I know another thing that might hurt the number of participants in here at the moment; we only race really fast cars.
The faster cars we drive, the larger the difference is between noobs/avarage members and the really fast ones. Thats partly because of drivingskill but also a lot because of tuningskill.

Could you? :)
Im only interested in driving in their side-series as a past time during the week, then focusing on the RWS on sundays nights. :D

well we don't ONLY race fast cars, so far we've had the GT1's and the Hot-Hatches.

Next will be V8 Supercars and the RWS masters, so there will be a balance :D

I would like to get a MINI cooper challenge or VW Beetle cup going soon though ;D

I use other forums to discuss anything that isn't related to Forza or this series because of the repetitive and immature nature of the topics posted in the off topic section. I still love you all though, don't get me wrong. :D
